"A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval."
Mark Twain, born in 1835 as Samuel Clemens, is an author that has written more than thirty books, plenty of short stories, has given public speeches, and has a couple of published essays. He passed away in 1910, but in the modern day his books and himself are still very important. In1876 Twain started a very controversial book. This same book was then published seven years later. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. His highly acclaimed book is not only a best seller, but is also read in thousands of schools across the country. The book uses satire to make fun of "olden" day life. Some topics he makes fun of within the book are slavery, religion, wealth, morals, and the wit, and smarts of people within the time. The reason this is so outstanding is because during the time in which the book was published and written most of these topics were very sensitive and important. Twain expresses his view on these topics so well using satire that people did not worry or wonder about the ideals in the book. That makes him an amazing writer, being able to share his views in a story without many people getting frustrated.
